Matthews Real Estate Investment Services
This was my first professional job experience (internship) in the world of real estate. I worked with the other interns on a daily basis, dealing with all sorts of projects and other tasks we had to complete. I also got to learn from the full-time brokers and listen in on some of their calls and watch them go to work. Lastly, we had 3 daily training sessions where we got to hear from some of the top people in the industry which was probably the most beneficial part of the internship.
Summer Jobs
In the summer of 2023 I worked for The City of Lakeville in the utilities department. I had no clue what I was signing up for. I think I misread something, or maybe just the wrong job description as a whole because by the end of the first week I was cleaning sewage and that continued for the rest of the summer.
The summer before that I worked as a sales associate at Dick’s Sporting goods.
While both jobs were extremely simple and easy, I still learned a lot from them and met some great people along the way.
