My Personal Life

My whole life I’ve been described as someone who can’t stop moving, talking and maybe being a little bit too loud. I agree. That’s how I would describe myself too. I’ve always been an extremely active person who is very out going and can talk to anyone about anything.

In my free time I like to be with friends and family, being on the lake or just outside in general.

It’s not listed below, but I have an addiction to golf. NOT a healthy one either.

My favorite things!

There’s nothing better than a beautiful summer day on the lake! I’ve been going to my cabin my entire life. It’s my absolute favorite place on earth. Not only do I enjoy being out on the water, but getting to spend time with my grandparents, cousins and friends is priceless.

My family is everything to me. My mom and dad, Sarah and Mike, are the greatest parents I could ever ask for. They both work in real estate, so you can guess how I chose to major in real estate. My brother and sister, Bobby and Megan, are my best friends. Sadly, they’ve both moved to Chicago in the past couple years, so I don’t see them as often, but I love visiting!

Over the past few years, I have been fortunate enough to do a fair amount of traveling. In January 2024 I went to Paris with my cousin and some friends, one of my most fun trips to date! I hope to travel the world someday.

Sports have always been a big part of my life, whether it’s playing them or watching them. In high school, I played hockey and lacrosse and had the time of my life doing so. My playing days are over for the most part, so now I sit on the couch and get tortured by Minnesota sports teams over and over again.

I'm named after my dad, Michael, obviously. He also attended St. Thomas (when it was still college instead of university) and went on to have a career in real estate. I’m basically his mini me, but with hair. I was destined to be a Tommie.

Fun facts about my family and I

I volunteered at a kayak camp at my cabin that helped teach disabled kids to kayak and get over their fear of water. I made some of my best summer memories here. It was so rewarding seeing the excitement and happiness it brought the kids.

My grandpa was the U.S. Ambassador to Belize in the early 2000s. Although I was too young to remember any of it, I think it’s pretty cool. It’s fun to hear stories about what it was like.
